The Story of Mountain Laurel

In 2005, Pamela and her husband Brian bought what was then called Mountain Leather & General Store. The store had been a favorite part of the Athens community for over 25 years. Since then, we have redesigned the store and increased our product variety, but we still offer fine silver jewelry and leather items for which the store was first acclaimed. It is most important to us that we maintain a high quality of product, service, and selection.

Creations from local artisans, home decor, soaps and lotions, housewares, toys, jewelry, leather, accessories: Mountain Laurel has it all, but where it really shines is in the quality and rarity of its selection. You won’t find it anywhere else.
